On June 18th, the "First Stainless Steel Supply Chain Innovation and Development Conference" with the theme of "Breaking the Situation with Methods, Developing with Strategies" was successfully held in Rugao, Jiangsu. The conference was organized by CAMT, undertaken by the Stainless Steel Supply Chain Sub committee of CAMT, and supported by Jiangsu Kangrui New Material Technology Co., Ltd. and Nantong Herun Special Steel Co., Ltd.

Mao Dongjun, Deputy Secretary-General of the Stainless Steel Supply Chain Sub-Committee of CAMT, presided over the conference.

Sun Deli, Deputy Mayor of Rugao City, delivered a speech, extending a warm welcome to the attending leaders, experts, and entrepreneurs. Sun Deli introduced the development history of Rugao City, sincerely invited the participating entrepreneurs to visit Rugao more, offer suggestions for Rugao's development, and wished the conference a complete success.

Chen Yingying, General Manager of Nantong Herun Special Steel Co., Ltd., delivered a speech, congratulating on the successful convening of the first Stainless Steel Supply Chain Innovation and Development Conference in Rugao City. She stated that the stainless steel industry is facing risks and challenges such as a slowdown in demand growth and an increase in trade barriers. However, with the implementation of a series of national policies to support economic development, the stainless steel industry is in a period of in-depth transformation towards green, high-end, and intelligent development. In emerging fields such as energy and environmental protection equipment, stainless steel has also shown broad application prospects, injecting new vitality into the development of the industry. As a green and low-carbon steel material throughout its life cycle, stainless steel will surely be more widely used.

Zhang Weixu, Assistant to the President of China Metallurgical Information and Standardization Institute and Secretary-General of the Steel Plate and Strip Sub-Committee of the National Steel Standardization Committee, shared insights on the development situation of the steel industry and stainless steel standardization, focusing on the output scale, demand status, and operational situation of stainless steel.

Chen Leiming, Executive President and Secretary-General of CAMT, delivered a speech titled "Thoughts and Suggestions on the Breakthrough and Reconstruction of Enterprises". He professionally expounded on the changes in the underlying logic, characteristics, and long-term trends of China's steel industry development, and proposed strategies for breaking the situation, including "Four Persistences" for foundation, "Ten Breakthroughs" for innovstion, and "Ten Establishments" for self-improvement.

This conference provided a high-end communication platform and valuable practical cases, receiving unanimous praise from the participants. It is hoped that more activities can be organized in the future to provide more opportunities for exchange and learning, empowering the high-quality development of stainless steel supply chain enterprises.

In the afternoon, the participating entrepreneurs visited the National Economic Development Zone in Rugao City, gaining a detailed understanding of the investment promotion policies and the operational status of existing enterprises in the development zone. They then went to the production workshop of Kangrui New Material Technology Co., Ltd. to experience the power of technology.
